Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Good for FX and Travel

Much lower fees than other providers esp. with the metal plan. Not perfect - Junior Card limits can not be modified, ATM limits do kick in at some point etc. but tech is head and shoulders above rest. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Great bank even on the standard level

I used to be a standard user; however, I upgraded to benefit from the perks the premium version provides. I even referred my whole family to Revolut. One of the main things I like about Revolut is that I can use it in Europe, where I usually travel, and I never have to worry about the currency or the exchange rate. Reviewed on: 20th January 2026
