Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Finally, Banking Made Simple

I’ve been using Revolut for my everyday spending and for travelling, and it’s made managing my money much easier. The app is very clear and easy to use, especially for tracking spending in real time. I like getting instant notifications after every payment because it helps me stay in control of my budget. One of the best features for me is the ability to hold and exchange different currencies. When travelling or buying online from other countries, it’s fast and usually cheaper than traditional banks. Setting up virtual cards also makes online shopping feel safer. If I had to mention a downside, sometimes customer support responses can take a bit longer during busy periods, but when they do reply, they are helpful and professional. Overall, I’d recommend Revolut to anyone who wants a modern, flexible way to manage money, especially if you travel or shop internationally. Reviewed on: 9th February 2026
