Same cover at half the price as equivalent cover with my old insurance co. That was new for old after 5 years.

Ripe ought to be called Rip(e)off.

Ripe ought to be called Rip(e)off. I took out Gold standard insurance 5-years ago with “24-hour cover” up to £5k and renewed year on year.... Ripe ought to be called Rip(e)off. I took out Gold standard insurance 5-years ago with “24-hour cover” up to £5k and renewed year on year. But 3-weeks ago my car was broken into m-tech golf trolly and other accessories stolen CCTV coverage shows this at 3.35am. Despite this and a crime report, + provision of proof of payment Ripe declined to compensate me at all, stating I was only covered going to, from or at a golf course, which was never made clear and is buried deep in their T&C’s that are not easily obtained or visual. So my advice is beware of RIP(e)Off companies such as this Read more Read less

    Excellent friendly and knowledgeable staff on the phone who did not pressurise me to make a decision immediately. I compared other providers and then called back to insure with Ripe.
