At first it seemed reasonably good despite their computer system crashing and the hard working David having to fill in the whole form again. But three days later I received a call from them saying that a typo had resulted in the policy being £5 cheaper and I needed to pay that. I suggested that waiving the £5 would be correct in these circumstances, but that was apparently not possible. They were still the cheapest no-frills policy, but do strike me as a bit unprofessional. David (who dealt with me) was clear, and worked hard despite the company and systems not being supportive to his work. I suspect the organisation is just another bureaucratic money-grabbing entity with bigwigs paid far more than they are worth, and a lack of investment in equipment and employees. Prize In relation to Ripe Insurance

The defining feature which raises Ripe Insurance head and shoulders above Insurance brokers in general is they speak from the voice of sincerity of purpose and are not perfunctory and routine in their telephone manner... .which is the trend insurance companies in general tend to adopt. They are, in other words, human beings unlike the robotic voice which most people seeking insurance are confronted with once they make a telephone call. Can't fault Ripe Insurance at all. Good value for money

When we got our motorhome, I did an insurance quote on an comparision site and it didn't even compare to the price that we got with Ripe Insurance. There was a couple of hundred pounds difference. Reviewed on: 17th July 2026

REALLY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE , easy to contact.

I had a problem with the brakes on my second trip out the breakdown service provided, was excellent, find it value for money was brilliant, I’ll ring you again. I believe in September and will definitely be looking at going with Ripe again. Reviewed on: 17th July 2026
