Very Good Help Desk

I contacted the help desk as I was locked out of my online account and spoke to Katie. As I have a disability. using a keyboard takes me a bit of time. Katie was extremely helpful and patient and talked me through the process of getting into my account again. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2026

Helpful and Supportive Staff Members

Relevant Linguistic Skills are Important in Banking.

I always get to speak to someone Scottish who can actually understand the Scots language. This is in stark contrast to other ‘Scottish’ banks or BS. It’s usually someone in a branch I speak too as well, which I value. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2026

Help is at hand !

Having had difficulty with last minute transfer of funds from my bank to SBS I called the latter for assistance. I was connected to June (Mitchell) in the Edinburgh office. June listened and gave advice in a patient, clear and friendly manner. June then insisted on staying on line whilst I tried ( this time successfully) the transfer process again.
