Life saver

I enrolled myself and 2 children when they were in junior school because the school had a volunteer who collected money every week. It was only pennies but all I could afford 20 plus years ago. The children knew they couldnt withdraw it as it was savings for their driving lessons ! It didnt completely pay for them but went a long eay towards it as they both passed first time. I also saved and had 2 loans which meant my family could enjoy a holiday abroad ...the only 2 holidays abroad they ever had. Its such a reassuring way of saving and loaning without worry , I have recommended it for years . Reviewed on: 24th June 2020

Good experience with them.

First time I got a loan with credit union was when i was moving to a new house, sign up was pretty straight forward & i got my loan for when i needed it. The amount of money I had to pay back each month was really low I didn't even feel it coming out of my bank account which was good. I have recommend credit union to a couple of friends and I would deffenetly use them again should the time arise. Reviewed on: 24th June 2020

Essential service and support

I've saved with SCU for many years, it is an amalgamation of several smaller local CUs. It is really helpful to have capacity to draw down loans and it's also good to know my savings serve to help those in greater need than I am. Reviewed on: 24th June 2020
