I’ve been a member for around 20years. I’ve always had a loan every Christmas. This year I was refused my Christmas loan even though I... I’ve been a member for around 20years. I’ve always had a loan every Christmas. This year I was refused my Christmas loan even though I have never ever missed a repayment. The worst part is that they didn’t even have the decency to call, send a message or email to tell me my loan was rejected. Until this year they used to go out of their way to help with my loan application and to make sure I got whatever loan I could afford. Well done credit union for sending us to the dodgy loan sharks!!     Interest rate too high

    I've been saving with what was called credit union for years and had couple of loans which had a great low interest rate. The interest... I've been saving with what was called credit union for years and had couple of loans which had a great low interest rate. The interest rate now has trebled, couldn't afford a loan with you anymore so I've had to withdraw some savings instead. I've got 2 credit cards with lower interest rates , credit Union was.started to help people or so i thought but it certainly doesn't now with such a high interest rate. Read more Read less
