avoid with a bargepole

Opened with a linked high street bank account, switched to a online only bank, then smartsave messes me about with useless emails about why the website will not open a new (second) account, before admitting they do not accept online only (sic challenger) banks, so i have had to open a high street bank account to get my.money back, they smartsave would not accept a recently opened bank account. This is nonsensical in a digital age. People change bank accounts. An online only bank is a bank by the same legal definition as a high street bank, regulated by FSCS. Reviewed on: 29th January 2024
