Amazing service streamlining my self employed finances

I have recommended Starling weekly to friends and family for the last few years. I find the app completely intuitive and considerate of what a self employed person needs whilst managing finances day to day. Fantastic Business Account - Quick in every way

In July 2020, I tried to open a business account with Barclays (where I have been a customer for 20+ years). I am STILL waiting! Starling did everything on a very short time and their helpdesk is phenomenally efficient. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Been onboard for just four months with two Business and one Personal Accounts but have not experienced any problem, hiccup or issue whatsoever. The App using iPhone and iPad is seamless, very easy to use and transactions in or out show and notified immediately! Using the Online site seems fine if you prefer to transact using a larger screen. And the zero Charges for the facility, well....! Only a very slight issue, timing to receive cheques over £500 through the post can take up to and sometimes over a week to hit your account. However, no hesitation whatsoever to recommend Starling which we do to our own customers. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Leaving High Street banks behind

After having business accounts with a number of the big four and Metro, I carried out research in order to open a New business account for a newco and was hugely impressed. Including the business accounting facilities which are upgraded month by month. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

very poor customer service

what should have taken a few days to a week took 5 months and the intervention of my MP before they would even talk to me, and then only via their app, a phone call would have sorted it in 5 Min's. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Good bank

Actually I have both a business and a current account. I spend a lot of time abroad and have a very easy to use Euro account as well. My only criticism is that the information you keep when I make a payment is not adequate. To use it properly I really do need to be able to print the full IBAN of the payee. This is vital for tax purposes in Greece and I have asked for it. I'm surprised it's not provided as a matter of course. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021
