Great bank

Starling has been a great bank for my business account. Their team have always supported me and my business. I am really happy to be their client. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

If only everything was this simple

My small business is young enough that I've always banked online with it, never in person. While other business banks offer "an online service", they may be online, but the service can be questionable and often burdensome to get help when things aren't right. Starling are not like other banks - I was initially a personal customer, but as soon as business accounts were available I switched and haven't had a bad word to say about them. Features, security, support, information, integration with 3rd party accounting... all excellent. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Banking made easy

I desperately needed an account for my LLP in the midst of COVID lockdown. Starling Bank were the only ones to help. Minor teething issues with app sorted with 24 hours. Everything is just so easy to do via the app. Other banks take notice! Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Getting organised

I'm not the most money savvy individual. I'm self employed but haven't been able to work because of the restrictions of the pandemic. I used the time out to review a few things which lead me to open a Starling business bank account. I now feel more confident and assured that keeping track and preparing my taxes will be easier and more efficient. I've also subscribed to their business toolkit add-on, which allows me to send and track invoices, set-up direct debits and standing orders for regular business expenses and I have created savings goals as I look forward to future financial stability. Best banking service ever

Really frustrating. No real explanation or support

As a sole trader and owner of a small start-up, I was looking for a reliable bank to open a business account with. I tried with Starling, but for some reason, after opening a personal account (a pre-requisite), I was then not given the option to open a sole-trader business account. When I called customer service to ask why I was given no reason and told to check back sporadically. I have been waiting for months now with no change. I have no way of proving that I am a viable business if I am not allowed to use their business account, so I have had nothing but bad and frustrating experiences with this bank so far. I really hope it improves in the future for genuine start-ups and entrepreneurs like me. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021
