Simple and safe

They treat business customers differently

Why don’t they let all business customers use pay at pump, only allowing a few and not being truthful why this is happening, pretending it’s due to fraud, if it was then you would not allow anyone to use it, other than this the app is good and some handy features Reviewed on: 19th February 2021

Clear and concise

Starling goes above and beyond the high street banks. From basics like receiving notifications when a customer pays me, to creating a saving space for tax or equipment. There are also handy tools connecting third parties such as iZettle. Highly recommended bank. Reviewed on: 19th February 2021

Easy to set up and manage

Setting up my Starling acount was so much easier than expected and faster. Everything is app based and the charges are very low. So far no problems at all and just easy banking. Reviewed on: 19th February 2021

Best business account I've had

High Street Banks are way too slow

Wanting to start a new business to seize on an obvious opportunity, we started the task of opening a business bank account. Our Accountants warned us that it was not going to be easy - high street banks would take many weeks to get an account open that we could then use. Our own requests to our existing banks were met with a complete lack of enthusiasm or suggestion of desire to help us and stated it could be up to a couple of months to get a functional account open. A friend suggested Starling and we were up and running in two days - fantastic service and a brilliant technical facility - nothing could have been simpler. This is the future of banking!! Why did I not do this sooner

I’m a sole trader who used a high street current account for years to do my business banking. I found it frustrating having to stomp into town to deposit cheques from customers. It was also difficult to log in and work the online banking system. Starling changed all that and made my life much easier. I was also a little sceptical about using the post office to make transactions but there are so many more post office branches to high street banks that I can pop in anywhere to deposit money paid from jobs. So much easier! Coupled with the saving spaces to put money aside for self assessment and how the app shows where my expenses are going, it couldn’t be working better for me! I’ve even switched to a current account too for my personal money and looking to get the wife setup too with a joint account. Keep up the good work Starling! Reviewed on: 19th February 2021

There when you need them!

At the beginning of the Pandemic, I opened a personal current account and a new sole trader account with starling. It took less than a day for everything to be completed, everything was done online, there was no snooty judgy business manager telling me ‘computer says no!’ I absolutely can’t fault them, the account works perfectly, I can see a breakdown of all my spending ... love it!!!
