Literal Lifesavers

Always is here to help

Step Change helped me when I was dealing with many problems on my own. The debts kept piling up, but they were a symptom, rather than a disease itself. The advisers were excellent and when I needed even more help, they were there to help. For my creditors even mentioning StepChange was enough to accept my payment proposal. A good few years of peace of mind and no fear.Stepchange stopped any mental problems by being there for me.

After accumalating debt by allowing banks and credit card companies to increase my credit limits when they wanted to without challenging them. They did it first and asked after. I got into trouble when my marriage brokedown.To condense this ,i was referred to stepchange and have never looked back or had sleepless nights. I will hopefully be debt free this time next year.I decided at the outset to stick to the advise Stepchange gave me,especialy on my annual budget review,which was always fair and allowed me to live under reasonable conditions without stress.I will always be grateful to Stepchange for sheperding me through this traumatic time in my life. The support Step Change have provided has played a big part in turning my life around. To say they have contributed to saving my life, is not an exaggeration

I got myself in to debt that I couldn’t manage, and didn’t think there was a way out. A colleague at work told me about Step Change and from the 1st moment I spoke to them, that feeling of helplessness began to fade.
