Stepchange lifted all the stress off me.

Debts after a bereavment

After the death of my husband, I was left with debts I could no longer pay. I have always been a good payer so this was worrying. I contacted Step Change and they were brilliant. I found advice and help with zero judgment.

I was honestly at my wits end…..circumstances had thrown me between a rock and a hard place and I didn’t know what to do or where to turn.
