It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Amazing organisation with amazing people

Stepchange have just been a lifeline for me. As someone who feels it’s a moral responsibility to repay debts I owe, I’ve gone down the Debt Management Plan route. Struggles are over.

I was struggling with debts which was impacting my mental health. Having contacted them I felt reassured that they would help me. Help came pretty fast and my anxieties got better knowing Step change was there taking care of things. Eventually they set up a debt relief order and I paid them a monthly fee that I could afford so they could pay off my debts. Overall, I don't know where I would be without them and I would say to anyone struggling with debts to phone them as soon as possible. Reviewed on: 7th May 2026

Budget plan
