Having spiralled out of control due to severe mental...

Having spiralled out of control due to severe mental health, I found myself in a deep dark hole. When I contacted StepChange the people I spoke to showed such an understanding of my situation. They were not judgemental and treated me with respect and compassion. I honestly don’t know what would have happened if I had remained in that pit of misery. Having them help me meant that I had a fresh start to concentrate on moving forwards in trying to get help with my illness. Please please contact Stepchange if you are struggling with debt. StepChange changed my life

StepChange changed my life by taking away the worry of debt. After one phone call I could sleep well again and since then I am kept up to date with statements every month. They are excellent at making sure you do not suffer with every day essentials while paying your debts. I am very grateful to them and would recommend them to anyone with debt worries. Really easy to use and saved my mental health.

Really easy to use and saved my mental health. I had got my self in a state with my finances and was stuck with what to do, somebody suggested Step Change, and I found the whole experience great you can do it all on line, which for me was brilliant as found it embarrassing to speak to people about it and usually got upset if I did. Great service and can not thank them enough they deal with all your creditors for you which itself can be very stressful. Use stepchange. You won't regret it!

This is a fantastic service. Being a charity, they are concerned about helping you, not making a profit. They help find the solution that's *right* for you, not what makes them money. They're really helpful on the phone, with a great deal of compassion. When i started, I was getting a little desperate, and it felt like a great weight had been lifted.
