Simple, low-cost investing with great ISA benefits

I’ve been using Trading 212 for my Stocks and Shares ISA and it’s been a great platform for long-term investing. I mainly invest monthly and use it to build my portfolio over time, and the app makes that really easy to manage. The interface is clean and beginner-friendly, but still powerful enough to track performance and manage different investments. I also like the ability to buy fractional shares, which makes it easier to stay consistent with my monthly contributions. The zero-commission trading is a big plus and overall it offers excellent value for money, especially within an ISA. Customer service has been okay in my experience — not bad, but response times could be a bit quicker. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Trading 212 to anyone looking to invest consistently and grow their portfolio over the long term. Reviewed on: 9th April 2026

Simple, Beginner-Friendly Trading App

I’ve been using Trading 212 for a while now, and overall, it’s a really solid platform especially if you’re just getting started with investing. The biggest advantage is how easy it is to use. The app interface is clean, simple, and doesn’t feel overwhelming like some other trading platforms. Placing trades, checking your portfolio, and tracking performance is very straightforward, even if you’re new. One of the best features is the commission free trading. Being able to buy and sell stocks without paying fees makes a big difference, particularly when you’re investing smaller amounts. The fractional shares option is also great you can invest in expensive stocks without needing a lot of money upfront. I also like the “Pies” feature, which lets you automate your investments and build a portfolio over time. It’s useful if you want a more passive approach rather than constantly trading. That said, it’s not perfect. The spreads can sometimes be a bit wide, especially for certain assets, which can eat into profits if you’re trading frequently. Also, while it’s great for beginners, more advanced traders might find the tools and analysis features a bit limited compared to professional platforms. Another downside is that during high market volatility, the app can occasionally lag or have execution delays, which can be frustrating if you’re trying to enter or exit trades quickly. Overall, Trading 212 is a great platform for beginners and casual investors. It’s simple, cost effective, and does what it promises. Have been using Trading 212 for a year now and it does exactly everything I’d expect it to - no need to speak to anyone - it works and it works all the time. Easy to use, breathtaking amount of options available. Being fairly new it was not overwhelming and truly helped me to make use of my savings and make my money work for me. From receiving free shares, to cash back debit cards and charge free investments in stocks and shares,. I can't rate Trading212 more highly.
