I’ve been looking into Trading 212’s Cash ISA and Stocks & Shares ISA, and honestly, both have their place depending on what you’re trying to do with your money. The Cash ISA feels safe and straightforward. You just put your money in, earn interest, and don’t really have to think about it too much. It’s a good option if you don’t want stress or risk, especially for short-term savings or an emergency fund. The interest rate is decent, and the fact that it’s tax-free is always a bonus. But at the same time, it’s not going to make you rich — it just slowly grows. The Stocks & Shares ISA is a different story. This is where things get more interesting, but also a bit more risky. You can invest in shares, ETFs, and build something bigger over time. What I like about Trading 212 is that there are no commissions, and the app is really easy to use, even if you’re just starting. You can buy small portions of shares, which makes it more accessible. But you have to accept that the market goes up and down. Some days you’re up, some days you’re not — and that can mess with your head if you’re not used to it. Overall, I’d say the Cash ISA is for peace of mind, and the Stocks ISA is for growth. It really depends on your mindset and how comfortable you are with risk. Reviewed on: 17th April 2026
