I’m not quite sure how I ended up on the updraft app, but once I had seen it I was instantly a fan of its UX/UI and design style, as an art director in Fintech myself it pleases me to see more good and fun design filtering into this industry(which often can be quite dry and boring). Applying for loans was incredibly simple, and the apr rates and amounts I’ve received from Updraft have been the most favourable around. They also do make a really good job of making it feel like a personal experience with the language used and chat based design. My initial offer wasn’t quite enough for what I needed to pay off to reduce my interest liability. I asked if there was a way to increase the offer and after discussing it they were able to increase it to help me. Most banks wouldn’t have even considered an increase. I’ve managed to reduce my interest and having the app makes it easier to keep track and make extra payments when I’m able to. Reviewed on: 27th March 2022
