Never touch this company please, they cancelled my insurance over an alleged incident that's not been proven either way even after I submitted evidence from a local constabulary stating no evidence to support alleged incident. I Had protected no claims, but still want to charge me cancellation fee(I didn't cancel it myself). I arranged another insurance via a comparison site and low and behold I was taken to Vanline Direct again to my horror after I'd oaid another deposit. Insurance on my van this time was considerably more than the policy that was cancelled by themselves in 1st place. Anyway after a rep called me up soon after new quote wasnt accepted regarding price and had to wait til next morning for a revised quote and I accepted based ob an alleged incident as mentioned before. Within a week or so I received another call from these reprobates demanding a further £600+ to be added to my premuum. This is ongoing and now they have forwarded my details onto a debt collection agency demanding another payment. This is ongoing and I really am at my wits end with this company as they've also sent me an email telling me theyre going to cancel my insurance again and further demand a cancellation fee, I've been in touch with ombudsmen and they dont seem to be of much help whatsoever, I need help big time

Early Auto Renewal Scam! Do Not Use

1 week before my renewal date I received a notice stating that I have electronically signed a renewal and documents are being sent out. NO notification or quotes, like other companies do. The email came at 7:15pm I read it and responded straightaway....

1 week before my renewal date I received a notice stating that I have electronically signed a renewal and documents are being sent out. NO notification or quotes, like other companies do. The email came at 7:15pm I read it and responded straightaway. 15 mins later I got an email saying 'sorry we no longer receive emails to this address' I cannot get an email to address to reply to, the contact us form tells you to only call for renewals or cancellations but they are shut at 7pm!!!! Rip off and scam

This really feels like a SCAM and should be avoided. On the surface Van Line Direct appears to be providing a very competitive quotation. I even called them to make sure if there would be any problems with the quote and the feedback I got was, “of course not, why should there be”?
So I decided to pay my money and proceed with the insurance. A short while after this I received a call from them, to make sure the details were correct.
After a few disagreements of the details I had entered into the online form, they said the price is now almost double! I can either pay the extra amount or cancel and pay £25! It felt like there were trip wires designed to catch you out and trap you into paying more after it’s too late or giving them £25 and going away.
It could have all been avoided if they were honest when I first made my call to them.
Very disappointed!

Do not use this company at any cost!! They have officially just won the award for the most money grabbing unhelpful company I have ever come across in my life. they took it upon themselves to electronically sign a credit agreement in my name without any permission! they have made sure financial measures are in place that are designed to further impact on already struggling family’s in this pandemic they offer absolutely no support towards the current situation. They are also sending out renewal premiums that far exceed the price of the same insurance if purchased through a go compare or simple website. I have just cancelled my insurance within 10 day’s of them fraudulently starting a new agreement in my name and they have charged me nearly £150 to cancel a policy I was never sold or sent any documentation for. STAY AWAY

Avoid just a scum the point is your £25

I have online quote £350 , go elsewhere because once you`ve paid a deposit online they phone you the next day with usual sales waffle and price goes up to over £1000. If you cancel you lost £25 off your deposit. I guess 1000 of people are scum daily ....

Promise of best price online, go elsewhere because once youve paid a deposit online they phone you the next day with usual sales waffle and price goes up. If you cancel you lost £25 off your deposit. Much better companies out there, I went with post office who were massivley better value and easy online setup.

Constant phone calls & emails threatening to cancel insurance as I could not produce evidence of no claims discount on my current car insurance, ( this I had never requested that they use) all I wanted was a policy without using my NCD as was originally quoted online, they then asked for more funds when I told them to let policy lapse. THIEVES ( scrooge would be proud of your attitutde )

DO NOT USE !! Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with in my life. We unfortunately decided to use them to cover our van, and when a breakdown actually happened they were absolutely useless, they kept loosing our details and claiming they had no idea who we were, we could never get ahold of them, they lied to us about how they would help us. After hours and hours on the phone and over a week later we still have had no help, our van is currently stuck in a small garage and we cannot get ahold of van line direct in order to get it fixed. They left us stranded in a foreign country with no accommodation or transport. Do not even deserve one star. Absolute bullshit.

I asked Van Line Direct for a copy of my no claims bonus. When they sent it through. i wasn't mine it was for someone else, their name, address, vehicle details, no claims details, direct debit details etc.
When i complained to Van Line Direct, the assistant told me i was wrong.
Even though i had sent the email back as evidence.
She still insisted it was me that was incorrect.
I assured her that i know my own name, address and vehicle details.
Only after much pushing on my behalf she accepted to take it as a complaint.
I then received an email offering me £50 to basically drop it ( good will gesture and to end my complaint)( keep it quiet)
A "manager" called me. accepted they had breached data protection, but didn't care.
If you value your personal details i would avoid this company. Van Line direct and Car Line direct. from Guildford.
I informed the person who's detail were sent to me.
I wonder who my details has been shared with.

WHO WILL THEY SHARE YOUR DETAILS WITH ????????????
