Real people with your best interests at heart.

The Vernon is a truly local building society with great staff. They still have a branch in Marple where you can speak face to face, a luxury rarely provided by banks these days! Reviewed on: 25th March 2024

Opening a savings account for my Grandson,...

I recently opened a savings account for my Grandson, which was quick and easy. The Vernon Building Society is one of the very few to allow a grand parent to do so, also they still provide a passbook so he can deposit cash at a branch old style. Reviewed on: 25th March 2024

The Vernon Building Society Efficiency

The Vernon Building Society dealt with me in a very professional manner when I opened as power of attorney I opened a fixed rate bond on behalf of my father who was in a care home. When some months later my father passed away the staff dealt with my father’s financial matters extremely efficiently, effectively & speedily. They were aware of the steps which needed to be taken to deal with this situation unlike many of the other financial institutions I had to deal with.
