Claims with Voyager

I've been with Voyager for several years now - very competitive and very good customer service. However, the measure of an insurance company is what happens when you need to claim. We were unfortunate enough to have my wife's suitcase stolen from the quayside prior to boarding a river cruise; we were already on board and had been told the cases would follow. Disaster, obviously. Got home, read the small print and discovered to my horror I had not 'ticked' the cruising additional option to the policy - big mistake. Not Voyager's fault, so stuck with them, but on the following year's river cruise, updating the policy, I explained the situation to Customer Service and asked to add the cruising option additional cover. He replied that I didn't need to, because the additional cruising option only applied to ocean cruising and that we were covered after all - more than that, he immediately took over the twelve month old claim and it was paid in full extremely promptly with no quibbling - even though we no longer had the receipts for the stolen clothing and replacement clothing. Marvellous, professional, friendly and personable service - we wouldn't consider going anywhere without Voyager. Reviewed on: 26th September 2025

Broke my arm and had to claim for a cancelled holiday

Broke my arm and had to claim for a cancelled holiday, submitted invoices etc on line, a straight forward process. With minimal fuss paid out all my expended costs less XS. First time I’ve used voyager but very important and happy. Reviewed on: 26th September 2025
