The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Perfect solution to save for Xmas for me

When all the Christmas saving clubs started closing down and leaving people without compensation I decided to find a new solution. I use my cashplus card and pay easy weekly standing orders to be able to afford Xmas. And on the plus side I can use my card online or in any store. Reviewed on: 18th February 2022
