I have been insured with GJW for my boat for 3 Month...

I have been insured with GJW for my boat for 3 Months, and overall my experience has been very positive. One of the main benefits I’ve found is the clarity of the policy – the coverage details were explained clearly, and I was able to tailor the plan to fit my needs, including [examples: cruising area, storage ashore, third-party liability, etc.]. The cost of the premium felt reasonable compared to other providers I looked at, and the ability to pay in instalments was helpful. What really stood out was the customer service. When I had questions about adding extra cover, the team responded quickly and gave me straightforward advice without pushing unnecessary extras. It made the process feel easy and reassuring. I haven’t had to make a major claim yet, but I did need to contact them about [a minor issue/small claim/adjustment], and the process was smooth. The paperwork was minimal, and they kept me updated throughout. The only drawback I’ve noticed is that some of the wording in the policy documents can be quite detailed and heavy-going – it takes time to go through everything properly. That said, once I got past that, the explanations from the staff helped clear things up. Overall, I would recommend GJW to other boat owners looking for reliable cover, competitive pricing, and responsive support. I was delighted with the way my claim was handled.

I was delighted with the way my claim for the theft of my outboard and the damage to my boat was handled. I was expecting to have to struggle with the claim and to have spent time and effort recovering my loss. The reality could not have been more different. The claim was settled quickly and with the minimum of fuss. I was able to get back on the water much easier than I expected. Reviewed on: 11th September 2025
