Awful

Atrocious customer service. 30 plus minutes wait time for every call. No Internet portal for documents so a £45 fee is charged for anything. Reviewed on: 2nd August 2022

This company is a complete disgrace asked my daughter for her V5c details i never been asked for that driving for 40 years anyway she sent photo evidence twice to them to have her insurance cancelled for not sending details . Cant ever get through to talk about why and there seems no chance of a refund Reviewed on: 7th July 2022

Money orientated with terrible customer service

Paid my deposit and had my insurance cancelled before the cover even started for them to not give me reason after just two days of paying. Took days to contact them with zero communication for then to finally get in contact to be told there would be a £50 cancellation fee despite it being within the ‘cooling off period’ and regardless of myself not even being the cancelling party. I am still awaiting the partial refund I am entitled to and have had yet again no confirmation or communication on the amount or when I should expect to receive a refund. Waste of time and money extremely unreliable had nothing but stress as they were happy to leave me short to a week to find other cover but had not provided me a refund to supply this cover, I feel exploited as a young driver and take advantage of would advise to stay clear just because it appears you're getting a good deal don’t be fooled as I was. Avoid this broker

This company changed £270 to cancel an insurance policy that had only been taken out a few minutes earlier. There was very poor communication re costs and conditions. These people are dishonest. Reviewed on: 26th March 2022

DO NOT INSURE

**Company that targets younger drivers and exploits them. ** Cannot express how much I advise not taking insurance with this company. The only way to make amendments to your policy is by phoning, and their openning hours are impractical for anyone working a 9-5 job (plus the length of time they leave you on hold is shocking). I read bad reviews prior to taking insurance with them and I wish I had paid attention. Any amendments made to the policy are extremely expensive, for changing to business use and reducing my miles by 2000 I was charged over £100. Refunds for cancelling the policy take up to 30 days, on top of this the money they deduct for you cancelling is ridiculous. One positive though, if you select the option on the phone that you wish to cancel your insurance, amazingly they answer a lot faster. I have ended up worse off by cancelling my policy and going else where, but from a moral point of view I could no longer insure my car with a company that profits so much from 'young and inexperienced drivers'. Disgusting company

This company is an absolute disgrace. Took a policy out for my daughter who is a learner driver. The premium came in low. I called today to say my daughter passed her test and was told that due to her passing her test within 40 days of taking out the policy, they had to talk with an underwriter to get it renewed. On getting the authority to renew I was told the premium goes from £360 to well over £2000. When I took the policy out after speaking to a member of staff I was not made aware of this. I have now gone and cancelled the policy and was told that as this is after the 14 days I would be charged £50 admin fee, their commission, no refund for the excess cover and legal cover plus other premium charges. In total, out of the £360 I paid for the 12 months cover I will be getting just over £100 back in refund for 15 days cover. Be very aware of this company and how they deceive you. Car insurance scam

I am absolutely disgusted and upset with this company. I have had car insurance for sometime and had a direct debit due out on 01/07/2020. I then receive a letter on the third from A Choice stating my insurance was cancelled. When I called they said there had been no payment and my bank had written to them as it was closed - my bank account was not closed! My bank account said this was certainly not correct and that they had not called the direct debit. When I called back their finance department they apologised and wavered a late fee. I thought all was sorted until I received another letter. I called them to complain and was out through to A Choice who told me my insurance was cancelled and if I had called the day before it would not have been. They then stated I now owed them £256 for cancellation fees!!!! The insurance payment is £76. I complained and was advised they would speak to their manage and call me back. I have still had no call back and had to pay to insure else where! Never ever use this company again. I googled reviews and it appears this scam has happened to a number of people!
