For most accounts you’ll already need to be a member of Acorn Community Bank, but when you join, a Regular Savings Account will be opened automatically for you.

Acorn Community Bank provides a great platform that makes saving easy and accessible. I’ve had a very positive experience with them since I joined when they were Swan Credit Union, and that experience has continued as they transitioned to Acorn Community Bank. I really appreciate being able to save my child benefit money and still access it when needed. The withdrawal request process is straightforward, and funds are released quickly, which gives me real peace of mind. Reviewed on: 7th April 2026

Acorn provides incredibly strong savings products, the Xmas saver has helped me prepare for Christmas without needing to worry about my expenses. Thr surplus saver acts as a nice way for me to put in any of my extra income, and the prize draws held for it are always a treat. Reviewed on: 7th April 2026

I have Xmas and Uniform regular saver accounts as well as a normal account and everything works great. The regular saver rates are great, the app is good, and the staff are excellent. No problems whatsoever. Highly recommended. Reviewed on: 7th April 2026
