Good value for basic cover Generally easy although the customer service can occasionally be a little slow. Didn't quibble over a claim and paid out quickly. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Reliable pet insurance

I have a 1 year old dog Timmy who’s had his fair share of ups and downs in his short little life already. I have claimed from Agria on his insurance twice and it couldn’t have been easier. Very quick, efficient service with no questions asked. I Got his renewal through after I had claimed was pleasantly surprised with the price and continued into Timmys second year of cover with Agria. Patient and so helpful

I have had such a good experience with Agria over my 3 years of pet insurance cover. Luckily I have had to use their services only once but on that one occasion, when my young female cat had a serious eye injury, they were patient, supportive and helpful. I love the fact that they provide a 24 hour support line, especially during these difficult times when it is easy to feel very alone when something goes wrong. We got a puppy during lockdown after 10 years of not having a dog . We were very nervous about her care and everything we read sounded great and so far has been . Peace of mind !

I have just recently insured my latest rescue dog Harvey ( Patterdale Terrier ) with Agria. This was as a result of the animal shelter I rehomed him from. Agria gave me 5 weeks free insurance ! I then insured him properly taking out a policy before the free period was up. Fortunately I haven't had to make a claim yet, but I am VERY reassured knowing that there is a 24 hour advice line operating, so that I am able to speak to a qualified veterinary nurse should the need arise.
