Pretty good, but wouldn't buy again

I didnt want a percentage policy, only a fixed excess (admittedly my fault for not reading it thoroughly). Its a good level of cover and the one claim I have submitted was settled, but took such a very long time that my vet practice won't claim direct with Agria any more as they were out of pocket for months. I have Pet plan insurance for my other two cats and I wish I had just went with them again for my boy, but I had heard such good things about Agria so took a chance. Reviewed on: 11th September 2020

Great Service

We've had Agria Pet Insurance for about 9 years now, for our two rescue cats. The yearly reminder for vaccination time is great, and you can't grumble at a £25 contribution to the cost! Encouraging people to keep their pets vaccinations up to date shows they're not just offering a service... they care about your pets health and wellbeing too. Luckily, we've only had to make one claim, when out cat, Charlie, got in to a bit of a scrape, but the claims process was simple, helpful and friendly... what more can you ask for! Excellent Insurer

With five Main Coon cats currently insured through Agria, we have needed to make a claim on many an occasion. These Claims have never been challenged and are always paid out very promptly. A whippet full of love !

I was forced to retire from nursing due to ill health. Having no family I became depressed and lonely. Archie a black whippet puppy came into my life and completely changed everything. From having to get up in the night to toilet him as a little puppy to going everywhere with me in the car safely harnessed but with his head on my shoulder as if he’s trying to help me drive! When he got bitten by a bigger dog who didn’t appreciate his jumping around trying to make him play with his chase me dance ! I am afraid at the vets my stiff upper lip failed me and I had tears rolling down my face I couldn’t even hold them till I was back in the car but he does mean the world to me. The one thing I didn’t have to worry about was how the hell are they going to pay a massive bill as I’ve got Agria insurance!I What a relief and he’s back to running around like a top perfectly happy I don’t think even realises what happened to him they were so sweet with him at the vets.
