Access to website blocked overseas

Had a savings account. But found their website blocked access if you are outside the uk. Except it just said the site was under maintenance. So it took a very long time to decipher that at the bottom of the page it was blocking access from non uk ip address. A problem when you are traveling for work or pleasure and need to access the site. It wouldn't even offer access to the page to contact them. Had to call my family in the uk to close the account for me to get the money back! Reviewed on: 20th February 2023

Great interest rate but no app

Moved savings due to a gewat interest rate offer, but i find it unfortunate the company don’t offer an app which would make it much easier to regularly check my balance Reviewed on: 5th February 2023

Poor customer service

I had difficulty in remembering one of the security questions in my account. The only way to resolve this is to call customer services. I have been calling for over a week and waited over 1 hour several times but cannot get through. I therefore cannot access my money. There is no online chat facility and I have no response to my emails. So basically they will not let me withdraw my money which is very concerning and annoying. Reviewed on: 2nd December 2022

easy to open account & great customer service

Every time I do a transfer of funds, the company acknowledges my transaction with an email. This is very reassuring. Also when telephoning them just to ask information, they were very knowledgeable, Reviewed on: 28th November 2016
