My first time with AllClear.

The insurer I normally use would not insure me because I have an undiagnosed condition. AllClear were happy to insure me (but obviously not for the undiagnosed condition). The people that I spoke to on the phone were friendly and helpful, although there was a bit of confusion initially over the difference between Minorca (my destination) and Majorca. I haven't been on my holiday yet so can't make any further comment, except to say that compared to the company I normally use, the cost for a single 1 week trip is roughly 60% of the cost of my usual annual multi-trip insurance. Easy to set up, but too many hoops to claim.

Easy to set up, but too many hoops to claim. I was ill, so my wife had to deal with the claim. She was given incorrect information as to who to contact to make the claim. It’s not AllClear you’re dealing with. It’s a subsidiary of Zurich. After the £75 excess, the claim was for £75 to cover the cost of the Dr to attend to me in the hotel. It was so complicated. Cruisers travel insurance satisfies.

We cruise quite often, and AllClear provides the perfect insurance product for our particular and specific requirements.
