DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – Complete Waste of Time We opened an account with Allstar, but before the fuel cards were even delivered, we discovered that unlike other fuel card providers, Allstar charges you simply for having the cards issued, not just for the fuel you use. This was not made clear during the sign-up process. We immediately contacted them to cancel the agreement within the cooling-off period, before the cards were even activated. Since then, we've received repeated sales calls from different companies within the Allstar group trying to sell us additional services, despite us having already cancelled the agreement. We have now contacted Allstar on four separate occasions to confirm the account has been terminated, yet they continue to treat us as an active customer and keep contacting us. The final straw was that they have now taken three payments from our bank account, despite not providing any service or product. We have repeatedly contacted their customer service department to resolve the issue, but it remains unresolved. As a result, we are now having to pursue legal action to recover our money. Based on our experience, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and failure to properly process a cancellation have made this an extremely frustrating experience. Do not use this company..
Along with many other customers we have just found out that for the past 16 months we have been subject to a risk based pricing... Along with many other customers we have just found out that for the past 16 months we have been subject to a risk based pricing surcharge. We estimate that this has cost us £4000 more than we would have paid had we just paid for the fuel at the forecourt. Quite what triggers this change to the account is unclear as it appears to be totally at Allstars discretion and having run the account for two years prior to the surcharge being applied without any issues at all I’m struggling to get an answer from Allstar as to what has changed. What’s changed at our end is the cancellation of the direct debit and refusal to pay the last bill until we get some answers. Read more Read less
