Along with many other customers we have just found out that for the past 16 months we have been subject to a risk based pricing surcharge. We estimate that this has cost us £4000 more than we would have paid had we just paid for the fuel at the forecourt. Quite what triggers this change to the account is unclear as it appears to be totally at Allstars discretion and having run the account for two years prior to the surcharge being applied without any issues at all I’m struggling to get an answer from Allstar as to what has changed. What’s changed at our end is the cancellation of the direct debit and refusal to pay the last bill until we get some answers. Read more Read less

My account... am writing this review to express my deep frustration and disappointment with Allstar Fuel Cards, due to an ongoing and completely unacceptable experience. My account was opened on 3rd December, and to this day it has never been activated. Despite this, Allstar has attempted to charge fees and even apply penalty charges for non-payment, which is outrageous considering the account is not active and cannot be used in any way. It is impossible to understand how a company can justify charging a customer for a service that has never been provided. The customer service situation makes matters even worse. Every single phone call to Allstar involves a minimum waiting time of 45 minutes, just to get someone to answer. When someone finally does respond, I am repeatedly told that “they are dealing with it” or that the issue is being escalated yet nothing ever happens. I have been waiting for weeks with no resolution, no updates, and no accountability. Emails are equally ineffective. The advisor, who has been handling (or supposedly handling) my case, has consistently dismissed my emails and stopped responding altogether. I have sent multiple follow-ups over several weeks with no meaningful reply. Additionally, the advisor, who explicitly told me he would contact me to resolve the issue, has never contacted me at all. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is shocking for a financial services provider. To summarise: • Account opened on 3rd December • Account still inactive • Fees and penalties being charged despite inactivity • Phone calls require 45+ minutes waiting time • Repeated empty promises that the issue is “being handled” • Emails ignored by advisor • Advisor never followed up as promised • No resolution, no timeline, no responsibility taken This experience has caused unnecessary stress, wasted hours of my time, and a complete loss of trust in Allstar Fuel Cards. Charging customers for an inactive account and ignoring repeated attempts to resolve the issue is unacceptable and, in my opinion, borders on unethical business practice. I would strongly warn others to think very carefully before signing up with Allstar Fuel Cards. Based on my experience, the service is disorganised, unresponsive, and completely unreliable. Really poor customer service. Helpline is a waste of time and no responses to emails sent. App doesn’t really work for home charging costs.

After years of putting up with sneaky charges appearing out of nowhere on their billing often hidden in the breakdown, The final straw was being informed in a random generic Email that they intend to put us on a risk based pricing plan completely out of the blue. Which basically meant they were going to charge an additional +20 pence per liter unless we were willing to place a bond in their keeping... They are deceptive and underhand in there business model which is built on the assumption most fleet users don't pay that close attention to what they're actually being charged and let that customer inertia reap in the profits for as long as possible before they get rumbled. On top of which they actively make it hard to end your contract by hiding the necessary contact information, and then fail to respond when you do manage to send the order to end their services leaving you guessing if they received that request or not.., If I could have given no stars I would have and am truly disappointed in myself for letting them get away with this for as long as they have before finally ending their service with our firm..
