Rubbish

Absolute disaster. for the past 6 months. they kept canceling my direct debit and they kept charging me 12 pounds late payment fee the worst part is they keep lying about it. the worst customer service that I have seen. no accountability at all. they messed up my credit score and now the last months they said they cannot locate the payment I made over the phone. then I hear lies and lies again denying their responsibility. Comprehensive

Just alright.

You get a great little card which enables you to buy stuff with credit at any Argos store and as long as you spend over a specified amount they will not apply interest for a number of months. However, they seem to offer you a high credit rating when applying but then keep lowering it for no reason. It's a little harder to get in touch with customer support as there only seems to be the one option of phoning. Reviewed on: 11th April 2023

Credit card

Poor is being generous

Trying to pay. Call centre staff do not know process. Say they will allocate payments to different balances but don’t, which could have screwed up my credit score. Automated payment line does not recognise English and sends you back to call centre who can’t take a payment. Useless Card number not recognised after 4 attempts. Easy to access

Angry

Nightmare to pay them. The App wont let you make a payment, so to the on line system, which if you've forgotten one of the endless questions, it locks you out telling you to requesting a reset, which tells you that an email will arrive in the next few minutes. Took 4 hours so was then unable to go straight onto the site as at work, so noting that you have 48 HOURS to use the link, I went on the following morning. Guess what! The link has expired. My advise if you can afford it, just pay on another card! Reviewed on: 12th August 2022
