Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Easy to navigate, good rates, excellent communication, speedy transfers. Reviewed on: 21st April 2025

Best fixed term interest

It’s hard to find saving or fixed term accounts that offer high interest payments. Atom bank offers excellent interest rates. I’d recommend it 100%. Reviewed on: 9th February 2023

Avoid - shocking experience

A V O I D - Really disappointing service. Have an elderly parent in care with increasing care bills and despite proving the outgoing costs they’re not happy to release the saving capital (we’re 50 months into a 60 month term). It took them a month to review the case, just time wasters!! Reviewed on: 18th January 2023

Online only and competitive

Took a fixed saver out as was reasonably competitive and managed solely online so no middle men. App is good but don't need to check often given the investment. Reviewed on: 17th January 2023

Fantastic savings rates

It was so easy to set up a savings account and to manage the account too. I feel comfortable knowing that the money can only be transferred back out to the account it came from. The interest rates are great - far better than being sat in my old ISA and I get an update every month and when the interest rate changes so I always know what’s happening! Impossible!
