Bamboo Loans: Excellent, Efficient & Easy Loan Provider

Me and my partner had our wedding booked from last year however, after saving up we were hit with the news of expecting a baby (which comes with its additional costs). As a result we were in need of some extra cash to help pay off some things for the wedding and after a few searches and a referral I came across Bamboo Loans. The application process was really QUICK, no time wasting with a user friendly website. Within JUST a FEW MINUTES I received an approval email and CONFIRMATION asking me to log in to sign the agreement. The agreement was clearly written with the APR rate and repayment schedule etc. and was able to sign this all electronically! (No stress of having to print, sign and rescan back in... phew!) Once completed I then received a email confirming PAYOUT by 1pm the next day! It was such a stress free process and since making monthly payments I have received reminders by text and email and have also spoken with the bamboo team directly on the phone who are also very helpful offering ongoing support. I didn’t have the greatest credit when I applied but good income and history of making repayments however, they also offer a guarantor loan service for bad credit. Even better... I managed to get a NON GUARANTOR loan which was even better for me! I would certainly recommend BAMBOO Loans :) Reviewed on: 16th June 2020

High APR Rates!

High APR rates, that should not be allowed. Payments taken like a debit card payment, whether it be a weekend, a bank Holiday, Easter or even Christmas Day! Process all geared up for the customer to miss the payment, which allows them to add charges. Payment taken a second after midnight. SMS, telephone call soon after missed payment. They're again later in the day. If missed charges are raised. Odds stacked in their favour. Companies like this should not be allowed to trade. Borrow £100 pay £150 back. Regarding our APR, we believe that our loans are suitably risk price adjusted and that we provide clear and transparent pre-contract information regarding the interest rate and total repayment amount before an agreement is made. This ensures customers can make an informed decision before proceeding with a loan. As outlined in our loan agreements, payments are collected via continuous payment authority on the agreed-upon date each month, even if that date falls on a weekend or public holiday. This helps customers stay on track with their repayments. We do also offer several forbearance options for customers who are struggling to make their repayments. Our timely communications help our customers from falling in arrears. We would also like to highlight that Bamboo does not charge any late or missed payment fees.
