Bradford District Credit Union offer a range of savings accounts.

Every member has a Regular Share Account where you can pay in as often as you like with regular deposits or lump sums. The Christmas Savings Account requires a minimum payment of £2 per week or £10 per month.

Very polite and professional to deal with, prompt telephone answering when you call the office, regular email updates provided which explain in good detail offers that are available or good savings advice and where too get further help from. Reviewed on: 5th April 2024

I have been with BMDC Credit Union since it started,...

I have been with BMDC Credit Union since it started, it helped me save for my sons birthday and Christmas presents, I took out a loan for a car when I changed roles and paying that back and saving was so easy to accomplish. I recommend them to family and friends and have family that have joined. The staff are great and helpful. Reviewed on: 13th March 2024

All rounder

Find saving with Credit Union very easy and always dealt with any issues promptly. I.e online banking etc. Very friendly staff when used to visit the office for withdrawals. They offer a wide variety of schemes some of which I have used myself Reviewed on: 20th July 2023

My rainy day money

I have been with our credit union for over ten years and it always been there for me to fall back on when I needed it. I put something away every month so that I have savings that I can fall back on if something unexpected happens e.g. a rainy day, for example a few years ago my fridge freezer broke down the week before Christmas and the most expensive time of year, fortunately I was able to buy a replacement without getting into debt or having to worry about where I would find the money to cover such an expense. The Credit Union makes it easy to save as you can pay something each month directly from your salary so you don't miss it. you can also get access to loans too which you repay at a reasonable rate of interest so no need to fall pray to doorstep lenders and payday loans. I encouraged my daughter to join and she now saves regularly too. BDCU is a great service and I definitely recommend it. Reviewed on: 5th July 2023
