I spoke to Business Debtline earlier this year when my farm supply business had late payments piling up. The adviser walked me through how to talk to creditors and budget better. Advice was clear and free. Only reason 4 stars: I’d have liked examples more specific to agri/seasonal income. Still, if you’re a small biz owner stressed about debt, call them before it gets worse. Terrible customer service

Customer service was not interested in my situation, And their form that was required to fill in did not account for the types of debts that I have. When clearly pointing this out to the customer service representative, they pretty much just ignored my message and said they wouldn't help me unless I filled out the form, which was extremely long and did not represent my current financial situation. The advice was professional, highly respectful, and profoundly empathetic. They gave us the exact framework we needed to protect our creditors and support our departing employees.
