By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Fantastic money-saving insurance for low mileage car users

So pleased that I signed my mother up for any Miles insurance, as she uses the car very little, and has saved us £100s. Only wish it could be available for elderly drivers as well, as I recommended it to my mother-in-law, but she was too old to be covered Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

(Sorry, it's a corny title I know but so true.) Have been with By Miles for two years and for a low mileage driver like myself I believe they are simply unbeatable Both the website and the app are easy to navigate with a dashboard showing journeys made and their cost - and any queries I have had have been answered very promptly and knowledgeably by their lovely online chat colleagues. Their very generous £50 refer a friend scheme is an added bonus - both the policy holder and the friend receive £50 free mileage. Thanks to So Miles I no longer pay insurance premiums for miles I have not driven :-) Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Invaluable during Lockdown
