By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Innovative excellence!

Having used traditional insurance policies ever since obtaining my driving licence (and paying considerable amount of money for the premiums), I was slightly apprehensive of non mainstream insurers - however, joining bymiles opened my eyes to an alternative and fairer system of insurance. Since joining bymiles, I have never looked back and would find it difficult to revert to a mainstream car insurance policy. Bymiles' business model is fair for both the company and its drivers, with amazing customer service and not much to improve upon! Amazing and brilliant

Before i found by miles i was paying a set amount for my insurance even though there are times i dont drive for a while so to have by miles do my insurance i dont pay a penny if i dont drive for me it has saved money that i can put towards something else i highly recommend also when i was unsure about what to do i had someone from customer service take me through everything step by step and doing that for me must of been a pain as im useless with instructions but they understood and kept me smiling im 100% happy to vote for bymiles insurance id do over and over if i was allowed Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Great value cover for low mileage drivers

Since Covid I've become home-based. 90% of my mileage was related to my commute, so I wanted a new policy reflecting my new lower mileage. I was amazed at how much money I was able to save and have since sent links to my parents and parents-in-law to encourage them to sign up as they are all low mileage drivers. Stress free insurance

I have been with Car miles since 7 months and its a good idea to have an insurance as pay per mile. Before I had to pay around £90 a month even if the car was parked but now I am paying around £25-30 per month which helps me save money for better things. Thanks by miles for making this happen. Brilliant so far

Great value for low mileage

Good company and easy to deal with. However quite restrictive if others want to drive the car the insurance gets charged twice even if I'm not driving and the other driver has separate insurance. Can be expensive for higher mileage Reviewed on: 29th July 2020
