By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Simple insurance for low mileage drivers

By Miles were extremely helpful in getting my car insured - all questions prior to taking out cover were answered promptly by the team. The mileage tracker was simple to install, and is proving to be cost effective. I have a second car that I plan to have By Miles cover at renewal. Fantastic value low mileage insurance

Over the Covid lockdown period, my car was mostly parked like lots of other drivers. Except because of By Miles insurance it cost me nothing as I only pay when I drive :-) Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Amazing Money Saver Insurance

First of all, it's a great idea paying as much you drive. Last year my insurance was around £600 and this year jumped to £900 with a starting price. I only drive maximum 3000 miles per calendar year and didn't want to pay £900 which was awful for my pocket. I found By Miles and got a quote for less than £500 for a year which covers parking during 1 year policy time plus 3000 miles. This company is awesome for low mileage drivers. I highly recommend. I like the concept of paying for insurance per mile you drive as o hardly drive my car, so By miles was perfect. I also had to make claim and they were very good and quick at getting a courtesy car etc. I would recommend them to anyone. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020
