By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Great product

My car insurance kept going up and up every year. I don't travel too far these days and was so happy to find a company that would take that into consideration. My insurance is half what I used to pay and I'd recommend it to anyone. It's a totally different concept of car insurance. I was so glad I changed providers. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

I chose By Miles because I don't do a lot of miles per year whereas most insurance companies don't give good discounts for low mileage if at all. And this year's premium was less than last year's! Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

I was recommended By Miles by a friend of a friend as my mileage is very low. Joining up was easy and so has renewal. By Miles have been very helpful during lockdown sending helpful emails to keep the car ticking over and also when lockdown was eased, sending information on returning to driving safely.
