By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I would highly recommend this insurance to any driver, good rates, a responsive customer service who are also understanding and based in the UK, the app is also very good and means that you have transparency in what you're paying for so overall I am very impressed and satisfied indeed. Amazing customer service and customer support from day 1 along with 100's of pounds savings for low mileage driver. To top it all lowered renewal without asking as you have to always haggle with other providers. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Following the Covid lockdown I have been travelling a lot less for work and as a result, having moved to by miles during lockdown, have saved a lot of money compared to my previous insurance. So far I've had a brilliant experience with By Miles.... they are contemporary, modern, simplistic, qwerky and great value for money. Vehicle insurance for the modern world

Fantastic concept, you pay a fixed charge to cover the vehicle when parked at your place but then pay only for the distance you travel and that too at a pre-agreed rate. Absolutely fabulous for people who don't use their vehicle for daily commute but nevertheless have a vehicle for weekends and occasional journeys etc. Also, they apply a cap automatically when the total distance cover din the day reaches 150 miles or something. This is great for those once-in-a-while trips that you might take during holidays etc. Fantastic service, fantastic product, fantastic pricing...strongly recommend that people go for this insurance. I don't do many miles so this insurance is perfect for me, my old insurance was £60 per month now its £12 per month sometimes below £9. Cant recommend them enough Reviewed on: 29th July 2020
