By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I was desperately seeking a lower insurance quote as my previous provider had drastically increased the renewal quote. I came across By Miles and I couldn’t believe my eyes, they worked out so much more cheaper than all the other quotes I had received, plus I don’t drive long journeys so this seemed like an added bonus that was too good to be true. I went on line and read the reviews, and they were very positive. I decided to give it a try. I receive the miles Tracker within a few days and it was easy enough to fit to the car. I am extremely satisfied, happy and impressed with the app which shows the cost of my journeys helping me to plan better and it’s such an easy going insurance provider. I have told my family and friends about By Miles and would most certainly recommend. The service via the web was great. A good experience all round. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020
