By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Simple, Easy & Efficient

Really easy to use and great for low mileage drivers. You can easily see how much each journey costs through the app and see where your car is at any point in time. The diagnostic test is great as well. Would highly recommend, makes a pleasant change for the usual car insurance and brings it into the modern age! Reviewed on: 10th September 2019

The concept of By Miles is great - you only pay for car insurance based on how much you use your car. We walk a lot and don't take long trips, so with By Miles we've been able to save hundreds of pounds a year. Customer service has always been very helpful.
