By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

i so wish i had found them years ago! i dont do a lot of mileage, especially since retiring, and it makes so much sense and is fairer to pay by the miles i do...i love their little route maps of all my journeys online and how many miles i do per trip. i hope they can extend this past 75 by the time i get there! Great service when you need it most!

I went with ByMiles because I live in the city and don't drive very often. By Miles meant I only paid for what I used but when I did, it was a policy I could rely on. I had to unfortunately make use of my policy after my car was stolen. By Miles and Axa made sure the process was quick and transparent. Highly recommend Reviewed on: 10th September 2019

Knowing my mileage is reduced this year, I read reviews in quality newspapers about By Miles. after a few enquiries on line with some specific questions. I’ve been insured with this company for just under a year, and it’s been a breeze they’ve got an app to download and it covers all areas and ticks all boxes.
