By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Genius! The way car insurance should be

Having a big engined car in London but doing low mileage, saw my car insurance premiums grow year on year as postcode and engine size ruled the roost. No more with By Miles! I’ve seen my monthly payments slashed by more than 50%. The app is so easy to use and makes you feel in control of your spending. And in 2019 when most things are app based for ease, I’m amazed this hasn’t been done before. I’m recommending them to all my friends. Car Insurance - Game changer!

I recently had a renewal quote for £650 and couldn’t believe what I could see. But then I see By Miles and quickly realise what they were all about. It’s an absolute game changer in the car insurance industry by paying as you drive. I’m certainly a massive fan of By Miles and I’ve told so many people about it. low cost 'pay as you go' policy keeps it affordable for me to continue driving

I changed to ByMiles almost a year ago when my premiums for my previous policy topped £500. As a pensioner on a fixed income this became unaffordable. My annual mileage is barely 2000/year so paying those previous premiums seemed crazy and impossible for me. Having found ByMiles online and worked out their premiums I was saving over £300/year so it was a no brainer to change. Why do people pay for mileage they don't use? People have asked me about the tracker fitted to my car as they were worried that it monitored my driving as other 'pay as you go policies' do, but ByMiles only use it for calculating monthly mileage purposes. I have recommended friends to this company and they will be taking a closer look as their current policy nears renewal. If they sign up (as they should) then we will all be an extra £50 better off, thanks to ByMiles referral scheme. I consider the company and their communications to be first class, I am a person not just a policy number and that's how they treat you. Highly recommended Reviewed on: 10th September 2019

A very good insurance who thinks of the costs of insurance at a very good price You will be charge for what miles you use in pence per mile , while you just pay for you fully comp insurance at a low cost to start you off .
