By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

This is a great insurance company for those who drive low miles,

But also if I have to drive more than I need to, I have felt I am not going to be ripped off. At the moment guys your great. You are very competitive with your prices and I am so glad to have come across you. Thanks. and yes i will recommend friends. Congratulations. Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

Simply the best of the best

I am so glad I stumbled across By Miles on a price comparison website. I’ve been with them since April, love the reward system they have in place, saved an absolute fortune since I joined By Miles. I pay as little as £20 per month for the miles I drive, this is accurately calculated by the miles tracker that’s plugged into my OBD2 port on my vehicle. Where as before I as paying over £100 a month for the same cover minus the excellent customer service By Miles always give their customers. I’ve been so impressed with the service I recommended a friend to join, he was really apprehensive joining but after doing his research it was a no brainier and he is now part of the family. Overall the By Miles product is really simple, after a one off fee to insure my car, I pay for what I drive not what the insurance dictates I may drive throughout the year. Were in 2019 it’s time to move on, I hope By Miles will remain competitive If this is the case. I don’t see myself moving elsewhere as long as the service remains the same (better is always good) and costs stay down (pence per mile.) Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

Best thing I have done for insurance

Since I have got in touch and then with bymiles, it has changed my life. I dont drive much and still used to pay like someone driving 10k miles. Great system and save money

Excellent communication made it a pleasure to deal with By Miles. I have now used them for six months and saving money on not paying for miles not driven. When my other car is due for renewal it will be put on By Miles insurance as well. Outstanding is an understatement

I have been with multiple providers before joining bymiles. The strategy behind their insurance is genius. I love that my car insurance is tailored towards me. I believe bymiles provides a fair and honest service. They of the modern era where i need to contact them directly unless entirely necessary thanks to their handy app which shows me exactly what i will be paying for the month and other useful features like the location of my veichle and the distances i have travelled. Bymiles has been significantly cost effective for me and my family especially where we are a lower income family. This company has help restore my faith in insurance companies. They are always on hand to help very quickly and deal with their customers professionally and efficiently at all times on my experiences. I will definitely stick with them going forward and WILL be renewing as i believe there is no better method out there for car insurance especially for young drivers who are usually exploited in my opinion by other insurers.
