By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Recieved various quotes on line,from £.400 to over £500.plus the ridiculous who didn't want to cover me £900 to £2000. As I only drive for 4000 miles a year By miles caught my eye.. Could not be happier.Saved £150 at least. Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

Recent experience with by miles

I have only been with by miles for a short space of time but I find they have been very easy to deal with and I like their policy. I paid a relatively small amount up front and the rest will be by mileage on a monthly basis on a measuring device in my car. As I do very little mileage, this suits me. The chances are my monthly average will be lower than before. This great for me but the advantage for most people is that it encourages you to drive less, where able to which is good for the environment. Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

I am not heavy car user or don't drive a lot. Every year hunting for cheap car insurer is always nightmare and relatively expensive. Doesn't matter if you drive or parked in driveway, you still need to pay full expensive insurance cost but not anymore I've choice. Thanks to By Miles which gave me the option to pay by miles you drive. This is fantastic idea and I believe it's helping lots of people. By far I am loving the experience with By Miles. Customer service is always helpful and polite. They helped me to sort out my £50 credit issue I was having which was great and i still haven't ran out. The app is fantastic where all your journey history is stored and can see how much you have spend this particular journey. Awaiting for more cool features like direct link to google map and waze and journey estimate cost with current fuel cost. The app even got Car medic function which is basically diagnose your car and alert you if there is any fault/code which need attention and I believe this is very good features to have. And if you click to fault code if any, it will give you all necessary information regarding that code i.e. what is this code and what might cause the code to trigger. Overall, I'm one of the many happy customer and highly recommend anyone to join By Miles. And I hope my fixed cost and per miles cost will go down next year which is more of a saving. :) Thank you By Miles. ***** Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

Absolutely brilliant way to insure your car if you don't do a lot of mileage
