By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

If, like me, you are a low mileage driver I cannot think of any reason why you would not use By Miles for your car insurance. Apart from their brilliant concept of low mileage should equate low premiums, their website and app are concise and easy to navigate and contain a wealth of useful hints and information to get the best out of their product and should you not find the answer to a specific question their team are a joy to engage with. Would give them 10 stars if I could and have no hesitation in recommending them to any low mileage driver looking for the best deal. Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

By miles by far incluses as standard more policies options than any other insurance company. I am so please with finding out about this insurance company from my dad. It has saved me alot of money and hassle and the customer service portal is very handy and one of the staff I spoke to about a problem I had with my car being in the garage was very helpful and sorted it quickly and efficiently. Not been with them long but I’m impressed. Forms easy and a super quick res. Gizmo came in a couple of days and was easy to fit, just followed the simple instructions on the website and email. I like the way I know the cost of each journey. Time will tell if I have made a good choice, but I’ll need to do a tour of Great Britain to make it as expensive as other quotes! Apart from their brilliant concept of low mileage should equate to lower premiums, their website and app are straight forward, concise and very easy to navigate and should you not find the answer to your specific question their team are a joy to engage with.
