By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Brilliant insurance idea

By the mile came up with a brilliant idea, customers will only pay for the miles they drive, that has brought revolution to insurance industry. Their customer service is brilliant, there is always help available when you need it. Absolutely love “By Miles” it’s so simple to use. And to know that should you need any assistance all you need to do is use the app and send a message knowing they’ll get back to you as soon as possible. I’ve used the app for several queries and it’s all logged on my policy. Key features are costing of long journeys, tracking of the vehicle which is a huge benefit should the inevitable happen. Health of the engine, and many more. Will I renew with “by miles” absolutely. My windscreen got a chip 3 days into policy and it was so easy to get auto glass came out on day 4 and repaired the chip through my policy. By miles works out I’m saving £55 per month of what I’d usually be paying with any other provider, and yes that’s inclusive of the one off payment. Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

A fairer way to insure

For a low mileage driver I find the option to pay a fixed element, and the remainder of my insurance by distance travelled, a fairer way of charging. Installation of the tracker was easy, plus gives the added advantage of tracking car in case of theft. The app is very easy to use, and so far everything has run smoothly.
