By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I’m so happy I moved to By Miles. They offered me the cheapest insurance by far, but being able to get money back if you don’t use all your miles is amazing. Since Covid, my car use has drastically reduced so paying per mile is perfect. Even if I start to use my car a lot, By Miles will still be the best value for me. I love that the app messages you to tell you how much journeyed were and the customer service agents are really good too. I’m ready to be a long term customer. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022
