By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Excellent insurance company

ByMiles quote was very competitive, you just pay a small fixed amount and a monthly fee depending on how many miles you drive. It's much more reasonable than other insurers. Also you can protect your NCD incase of a claim. You also get to make 3 free changes per year without incurring any admin fee. ByMiles tracker will help you to know how much you are spending per month as well as it lets you know where your car is parked. They don't care about how you drive the car, just how many miles you drive. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

Excellent overall product, ticks all the boxes

Excellent idea, brilliant value for money, annual, very reasonably priced annual fee for when the car is standalone and for those with either a short commute or who don't use their vehicle every day its perfect. Only pay for what you drive. Brilliant app to keep track of your miles with a running total, simple to get going just click and go. I couldn't recommend this more and wouldn't choose another insurer.
